Wave field around islands
Modelling wave fields in the vicinity of Vietnamese islands:
- Wave refraction and shoaling effects
- Nonlinear wave-wave interaction and diffraction
- Infragravity wave formation in shallow waters
Wave propagation toward a bay
Detailed bathymetry data is not available and GEBCO dataset was used. The model XBeach is used; the wave module is considered an updated version of Swan (considering the coupling with flow modules, GLM velocities etc.)
